PRICING & RISK WORKSPACE

Explore gas-storage pricing
with AADC and Tracer.

How does a change in future gas prices affect storage value? In an arranged MyPricingLab demonstration, you can change the inputs and compare results. AADC calculates how value responds to market inputs; Tracer shows recorded operations and the model code for one simulated sequence of gas prices.

Private demonstrations by arrangement. Existing users can sign in to the workspace.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Work through the question
behind a valuation.

Change an assumption, compare the outcome and examine the supporting calculation in the same workspace.

01 / VALUATION

Start with the prepared case

Once access is arranged, open the prepared storage case in your browser. Review the market prices and facility assumptions before running it.

02 / RISK

See how value responds

AADC calculates the rate at which storage value changes with each forward price or the discount rate. These rates are called sensitivities: a change in value per unit change in an input.

03 / SCENARIOS

Compare different markets

Edit future gas prices (the forward curve) or the discount rate and compare values and sensitivities. Restore the starting inputs to check the original scenario again.

04 / REUSE

Keep the setup for another scenario

Change forward prices or the discount rate within the example’s input ranges. The existing model setup is reused to calculate fresh values and sensitivities.

05 / TRACER

Inspect one simulated outcome

See recorded operations alongside the model code for one simulated sequence of gas prices. A separate run compares that sequence’s cashflow, final gas price and stored gas amount with the pricing calculation.

06 / ACCESS

Use a browser or MCP

In the arranged demonstration, use the browser for valuations, comparisons and investigation of one simulated sequence. Ask us to set up an MCP connection for those functions in a compatible client.

THE AVAILABLE EXAMPLE

Explore a gas-storage
decision with changing prices.

Start with a six-month storage facility and a prepared rule for operating it. Change future gas prices, inspect the effect on value and risk, then examine recorded operations for one simulated price sequence.

The example uses illustrative market inputs. Sensitivities measure the response to a market input while the operating rule and other model settings stay unchanged.

Request a demonstration
  1. 1

    Run the prepared case

Review the value and market sensitivities.

  2. 2

    Change the forward curve

Compare scenarios and restore the starting inputs.

  3. 3

    Investigate an earlier result

Open Tracer evidence and the associated source.

CONNECT TO THE WORKFLOW

Request valuations
through MCP.

After a connection is configured, a compatible AI client can request storage valuations and compare market scenarios through Model Context Protocol (MCP). It can also retrieve recorded operations and model code for one simulated sequence of gas prices.
